Environment »

Environment is an issue of high concern. Environment protection, Environment conservation and Environment restoration is one of the important activities Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti under the guidance of Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni has been working.

We are involved in the practice of protecting the natural environment on individual, organizational or governmental levels, for the benefit of the natural environment and humans. Due to the pressures of population and technology, the biophysical environment is being degraded, sometimes permanently. This has been recognized, and governments have begun placing restraints on activities that cause environmental degradation. Our philosophy supports the autonomy of self-control, of striving to balance our personal consumption of things by rationalizing between our needs and desire. If you ultimately feel that you own nothing and no one, you will not trample the ecology on which our survival depends.
Maintaining the environment as it was before human additions allows plants to continue growing, plants that help regulate temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, an provide oxygen.

Environmental protection is a practice of protecting the natural environment on individual, organizational or governmental levels, for the benefit of the natural environment and humans. Due to the pressures of population and technology, the biophysical environment is being degraded, sometimes permanently.
Environmental protection is influenced by three interwoven factors: environmental legislation, ethics and education. Each of these factors plays its part in influencing international, national-level environmental decisions and personal-level environmental values and behaviors. For environmental protection to become a reality, it is important for societies to develop each of these areas that, together, will inform and drive environmental decisions.
Environment is an Issue of high concern. The conservation of the environment is something we should think about seriously. With the pollution and the growing industrialization our environment is losing the charm. It’s adversely affected with the things happening around.

Environment conservation is something which is a major topic of discussion. The animals in the earth today may not be there tomorrow because of the changing environment. The animals are not like us to adapt to any variations. They are accustomed to some and need that for the living. Many things are changing because of the environment and its conservation is a must.  The conservation of the environment is something we should think about seriously. With the pollution and the growing industrialization our environment is losing the charm.

The harmful chemicals are being thrown or discarded in the environment and the different types of pollution that our environment has to face each day are all responsible for the degradation of the environment. Planting trees alone in the name of environment conservation won’t help. There are issues like water level falling and the global warming and the glacial ice melting etc. These are no different but a result of our changing environment.

Environmental Restoration is the deliberate attempt to speed recovery of damaged areas. It ranges from practical and economic attempts to simply restore some productivity to degraded grazing lands, to the attempt to return full ecosystem function and structure in protected ecosystems. Restoration is needed virtually everywhere humans have been active past the hunter-gatherer stage. There is a need to create a sense of community ownership and responsibility for our natural resources, foster cross-cultural and intergenerational understanding, promote civic engagement and encourage volunteerism.

Maintaining the environment as it was before human additions allows plants to continue growing, plants that help regulate temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, an provide oxygen.

Maintaining the environment helps preserve animal species that combine with the environment to help maintain plants (seed dispersion, pollination by insects, etc) on which we depend.

Maintaining the environment allows us to live free of any pollutants or hazards that we might introduce into our environment. That leaves us free to try to survive in the "natural" environment which includes things like sharks, poisonous insects and reptiles, pollen, poisonous plants, viruses, bacteria, thousands of parasites, and other animals that compete for food and land.

Maintaining the environment allows future generations of humans to grow and live without having to deal with anything we've done to contaminate the environment in which we do live and they will live.
